Electronics and Communication Engineering is the branch that deals with designing and testing circuits that use the electromagnetic properties of electrical components such as resistors, capacitors, inductors and transistors to achieve a particular functionality.
The Electronics & Communication Engineering Department of Cooch Behar Government Engineering College committed for providing highest possible standards of quality in teaching and practical. At present the department offers B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering. The department has established all new laboratory with state-of-art facilities with a view to nurture students in experimental set up.
Electronics & Communication Engg. stream is always in great demand because of broad based coverage which also includes Communication and IT. Electronics & Communication engineers have good employment opportunity in Electronics & Communication including Cellular telephones, Microwave, Satellite & IT fields.

The department is located in a surrounding of awesome scenic beauty at the bank of Torsha River and enriched with state of the art facilities, smart class rooms, and highly qualified faculty and staff members. Though the department is comparatively a new entrant as it is a wing of a new Government Engineering College of West Bengal, still it works in line with the objective of addressing critical scientific and technological challenges of the Industries, Business Houses and Global Academia as a whole.
